1. Heat oil & ghee in a pressure cooker, followed by adding jeera and let it splutter |
2. Add onions and fry until translucent |
3. Add tomatoes & green chillies and fry till the oil separates |
4. Add turmeric, chilli powder, coriander powder, and salt, and mix it well and fry till the raw smell leaves |
5. Drain the soaked rice, dal & coriander leaves and stir fry for 2 mins till it gets completely coated with the masalas |
6. Add 4-5 cups of water and cook upto 3-4 whistles of the pressure cooker |
7. Once done, turn off the flame and wait for the pressure to come down on its own |
