Experience the journey of Taj Basmati Rice – From paddy elds through milling, processing, natural aging, quality testing, packaging and nally on your plate.

Every grain of Taj Basmati can be traced back to its origin, that is, the rich fertile paddy elds at the foothills of the Himalayas – the only place on earth where True Basmati can grow. Rough (Paddy) Rice sourced from carefully selected farms, is moved to our nominated BRC & HACCP certied Rice mills, where it is hygienically processed to produce dierent varieties and grades of TAJ Basmati Rice.

Grains of Rice are milled by machines that rub the
grains together under pressure removing the outer
bran layer and revealing Polished
White Basmati or Polished Parboiled Basmati

sensors remove unwanted/
discoloured and defected grains
based on colour and type

Separation of Rice:

Rice grains are gradeded as

broken rice is removed
